The Lady Panthers traveled to Spins Bowl Kent to take on Southeast. The Panthers jumped out to an early lead, 865-709, after the first team game. The Panthers improved more in the second team game, improving to 915 to the Pirates 759. The Panthers held a 312 pin lead (1780-1468) after the two team games. The Panthers did let up in the Baker Games, rolling a 503 (140, 175 & 188) to the Pirates 391 (116, 154 & 121). The Lady Panthers traveled to Spins Bowl Kent, to compete in the Ravenna Ravens Invitational. The Panthers started hot, rolling a 960 in the first team game to place them in first place. In the second team game, the Panthers had trouble converting spares with a 732 game. After two games, the Panthers were in second place behind Ashland HS. In the third game, the Panthers found their mojo again rolling a 899. Heading into the Baker Games, the Panthers were in second place with a 2,591. The Panthers were 206 pins behind Ashland for first place. In the Baker Games, the Panthers rolled a 867 series (168, 203, 156, 192 & 148). At the conclusion of regular match play, the Panthers remained in second place with a 3,458. In the first round of the playoffs, the Panthers took on the #3 team – Tallmadge Blue Devils in a best of three Baker Games. Again the Panthers found themselves having a hard time converting spares. The Panthers only shot 37.5% (9 of 24) on spare conversions. The Blue Devils won the playoff round 2-1. The Panthers finished in third place for the tournament. Highlights: Colleen Lehner and Katie Anderson earned All-Tournament Team Honors.                                         Katie Anderson’s 280 game was a tournament high.                                                                                 The Panthers 960 team game was the tournament’s second high game.                                               The Panthers 203 Baker Game was the tournament’s second high.                                                     The Panthers 867 Baker Series was the tournament’s high series.

The Varsity Lady Panthers moved to (2-0) by beating the Lady Ravens at Charger Lanes. The Panthers were led by Colleen Lehner with a 423 series (220 & 203). Also rolling for the Panthers were Anna Tatham with a 309 series (159 & 150), Kylie Miklovic with a 299 series (150 & 149), Katie Anderson with a 291 series (147 & 144) and Maddie Duffield with a 265 series (113 & 152). The Panthers outscored the Ravens 789-705 in the first Team Game. The Panthers then added on to their lead with a 798-652 in the second Team Game. Heading into the Baker Games, the Panthers held a 230 pin lead (1587-1357).  In the Baker Games, the Panthers shot a 500 series (164, 161 & 175) to the Ravens 490 series (129, 179 & 182).

The Varsity Lady Panthers opened up the season on the road at Coventry (Turkeyfoot Lanes). With 5 returning lettermen, the Panthers looked to build on to last seasons 15-3 record in the PTC. The Panthers were led by Colleen Lehner with a 413 series (213 & 200). Also rolling for the Panthers were Katie Anderson with a 362 series (153 & 229), Kylie Miklovic with a 337 series (167 & 170), Maddie Duffield with a 297 series (147 & 150), Anna Tatham with a 125 game and Leeann Richardson with a 130 game. The Panthers outscored the Comets 805-772 in the first Team Game. The Panthers then added on to their lead with a 879-789 in the second Team Game. Heading into the Baker Games, the Panthers held a 123 pin lead (1684-1561).  In the Baker Games, the Panthers shot a 543 series (189, 183 & 171) to the Comets 546 series (190, 162 & 194).
